The processing of your personal data is carried out for the scientific purposes of the LIVINGAGRO project, which has the following goals: the transfer of knowledge and innovative technologies on Mediterranean agroforestry systems, sharing of good practices, promotion of sustainable production and protection of biodiversity by strengthening cooperation between research bodies, institutions, SMEs, farmers and stakeholders. This privacy policy was drafted in accordance with the methodological standards of the relevant disciplinary sector and filed at the institution listed above, where it will be kept for five years after the conclusion of the research project.

The following personal data will be processed by LIVINGAGRO project partners:
First name, last name, e-mail, job position, company or organization name, city, country, phone number, food intolerance/allergy, gender, age range: these data are necessary to contact the interested parties during the duration of the project and to collect their views through surveys, face-to-face interviews and other suitable methodologies. Furthermore, this data will be used to inform interested parties about meetings that will be organized. The data may also be used for reporting purposes, as required by project administrators and auditors.

Photos and videos: these are necessary to comply with the communication and dissemination activities required for the project. Photos and videos may be shared on the websites, ICT platform and social media of the project, and they could be shared more widely on the internet. Photos and videos may also appear with articles written about events and about the project by project partners and with articles or reports by reporters working for other media outlets. Moreover, these images and videos could also be sent to European Union bodies, its agencies or similar offices, if needed, for communication activities or checks and audits. Photos and videos could be used in streaming and teaching activities related to the project.

Type of farm: agricultural, agro-pastoral, agro-forestry-pastoral: These data will be used to identify the type of innovations that could be applied, according to the provisions of the project.

The processing of your personal data is carried out by the Data Controller as part of the execution of his own tasks of public interest (for scientific research purposes) pursuant to art. 6, par. 1, lett. e) of GDPR.

The processing of your data will be carried out using paper and electronic tools, adopting the following security measures: protecting the computers of data managers via password and access reserved exclusively to the persons in charge of processing. Your personal data will be processed exclusively by authorized subjects in the context of realization of the project. Specifically, they can be used by the project partners for the duration of the project and for the five years following its conclusion.

Five years after the end of the project, your personal data will be destroyed and deleted from the project databases and PCs and any device where it has been stored for the project purposes.

The provision of your data for the aforementioned research purposes is essential for carrying out the Project, and failure to provide it will make it impossible for you to participate.

Your personal data may be disclosed to the project partners FORESTAS (Italy), CNR (Italy), ATM Consulting SAS (Italy), and MAICH (Greece) for the realization of the Project and related statistical and / or scientific purposes. These data may be disclosed as they are, or they may be used anonymously or pseudonymised. Your data may also be disclosed to the European Commission or its Agencies for the proper functioning of the project. Your personal data may be transferred to a third country (i.e. outside the European Union) or to an international organization belonging to the project consortium. For example, the data could be shared with LARI (Lebanon) and NARC (Jordan), which have guaranteed compliance with the same level of protection provided by the GDPR by signing a specific agreement.

DISCLOSURE OF RESEARCH RESULTS

The dissemination of statistical and / or scientific results (for example through the publication of scientific research articles and / or the creation of databases, also with open access methods, participation in conferences, etc.) may only take place in anonymous and / or aggregate form and in any case according to ways that do not make you identifiable.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES

As an interested party, you have the right to ask the Data controller above, at any time, to allow you to exercise the rights referred to in articles 15 and following articles of the GDPR and, in particular, access to your personal data, rectification, and integration, as well as inquiring about whether the regulatory conditions are being met, the cancellation of the data, the limitation of treatment of the data and the right to object to their processing. The treatments already legitimately carried out, such as those necessary for publications or scientific reports, cannot be deleted. To exercise your rights and for information relating to the Project, you can contact the following address: livingagro.communication@forestas.it. The right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data remains unaffected pursuant to art. 77 of the GDPR.
