Alessandro Mancosu holds a Master’s in European Studies and a Postgraduate diploma in Journalism from King’s College London and the London School of Journalism. Mr. Mancuso has worked in London and at the European Commission in Brussels, reporting about the activities of the European Parliament Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development and of the DG AGRI. He has extensively covered topics such as the Common Agricultural Policy, GMOs, pesticide legislation, free trade agreements, and plant patent legislation. He has worked as a project expert at Coldiretti, the largest agricultural trade association in Italy, and subsequently as a consultant for ATM Consulting and the Italian National Association of Municipalities – ANCI Sardegna. Mainly working on project drafting and management, he has expertise in rural development, agroforestry, food sovereignty, sustainability and protection of wetlands.
