Dr. Abdel Hafes Bashir

Dr. Abdel Hafes Bashir was the head of the division of biodiversity in the Forestry Department at the Ministry of Agriculture for over twelve years. He also worked as the project coordinator for Agriculture Related Projects Using Intensive Employment in Green Works and Forestry at the Ministry of Agriculture from 2016-2018. He earned a PhD in Horticulture and Crops Science from the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Jordan in 2016, examining the use of molecular markers for wheat germplasm from Jordan. In 2021, Dr. Bashir began work at the National Agricultural Research Center as a researcher in the Directorate of Biodiversity in the Forestry Department.
